Good Cause

We received an email from Details Details about these printable tea party invitations that have been created by top Australian stationery designers (including Alannah Rose) for Ava's Tea Party which remembers Ava Rosemeyer 2003-2007. 100% of proceeds will go to Paradise Kids which supports families experiencing illness and loss. Below are some of my favourites which could be used for engagement parties, kitchen teas or hens parties with a tea party theme. They are all $10 and are supplied as printable files over email, so you can print as many as you like.

It's Time to Polka

Our dear friends Libby and the team at Polka Dot Cookies sent me the dreamiest images today of their brand new biscuit range – just as I was dreaming of one of their delicious cookies with my morning coffee! We were all so excited to see this super chic cookie range, now we are getting straight to work thinking of all the wonderful ways we can use them in our inspirational theming stories – the options are endless!

This gorgeous biscuit range is just in time for the opening of their fabulous new store with the new range of cookies available daily there's no need to order in advance. Choose from a range of sophisticated flavours including Lemonade Lace - sherbet dusted lemon lace doilies, Marie Antoinette's – floral and fragrant jasmine honey with rose and citrus sables, Cocoa Vanilla Cremes - cameos with single origin Tasmanian blackberry honey spiked filling, Pecan Sandie Sparrows - sandwiched with fresh bay leaf and maple cream, Doris Days - sweet orange blossom macaroons with orange marshmallow filling and more.

And just so we aren't the only ones having all the fun...Polka Dot Cookies has made a fabulous offer available exclusive to WSG blog readers. Libby would love to give away a cookie jar to the value of $25 to the first 5 people to come into the store at 601 King St Newtown, NSW or call them on (02) 9557 9093 and mention the WSG blog! (Available to Sydney residents only.) For more info visit www.polka.com.au

With the release of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ - tea party fever is here! Of course the masters of fine china at Wedgwood have come to the party, introducing the romantic "Queen of Hearts" and the whimsical "Cukoo" tea sets to it's timeless range. In a soft colour palette of pastel pink, green, blue and peach these sets offer all the essential items for a traditional high-tea, including teacups and saucers, teapot, sugar and creamer, cake plates, sandwich tray and a two-tiered cake stand. What a perfect addition for the prettiest bridal shower or day after the wedding brunch with family and friends.
