There's one Haute Couture show in particular that I look forward to every time and it's the show of Elie Saab. It never ceases to amaze me how Mr Saab can produce, without fail, a simply breathtaking show with gowns that are ultra-feminine, sexy, classic and soft. This year he worked with a very neutral palette of off whites, creams, nudes, soft chocolates and light gold, mixed with touches of navy. With plunging necklines, embellished and embroidered fabrics, the softest of tulle and floaty skirts it's no wonder he's one of the most sought after designers to dress leading ladies for red carpet events and weddings.
