We were at an industry party recently where Great Performances presented the best new idea for hors d' oeuvres that we've seen in a long time. This salumeria station certainly captures the NYC foodie zeitgeist -- clean foods simply prepared from fresh, local, delicious ingredients. A server can slice prosciutto di parma while guests nibble on chunks of parmesan, marinated olives, salamis and other antipasti. Yum. A favorite restaurant to see the salumeria in action -- Lupa Osteria Romana.
